Falcons Soar To Second Straight Victory
Pownal- Three first period goals proved to be too much to overcome for the Pownal Metro Builders, as they dropped their second game of the season, a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Sherwood Falcons. Making his second start in as many nights, David Burke showed his playoff MVP form by posting a second solid outing. Sean Curley, Tyler Simpson, and Jason Morais scored first period goals for Sherwood while Robbie Chandler added a third period goal. Paul Gormley and Brett MacDonald responded for Pownal, while Shane Kelly chipped in with two assists. Andrew MacRae suffered the defeat.
