Kensington, PE-- The Kensington Moase Plumbing & Heating Vipers defeated the Sherwood A & S Scrap Metal Falcons by a score of 4-1 in Marks Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey action Saturday evening in Kensington. Rory McDowall, Cameron Webster, Kendall Costello, and Allan Clow scored for the Vipers. Nick Reilly, Mark Paynter, Mitchell Gallant and Tyler Doucette recored assists, while Logan Reid stopped 37 of 38 shots in a solid performance to earn the goaltending win. Brodie MacDonald, assisted by Brett MacDonald, and Brent Coade scored the lone goal for Sherwood. Luke Gallant turned aside 35 of 39 shots in taking the goaltending loss. The two teams were tied 1-1 after the first period, and the Vipers took a 2-1 lead following the second.
