Vipers Offense Explodes in win over Maniacs

KENSINGTON, PE—The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers picked up a win in Saturday action of the Marks Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League, as their offense exploded for a 11-1 victory over the Montague Down East Maniacs.

Cameron Webster (2-1), Rory McDowall (2), Jeremy Jollimore (1-3), Nick Reilly (1-2), Mitchell Gallant (1-2), Allan Clow (1-1), Kendall Costello (1-1), Mark Paynter (1-1), and Dustan Jones scored for the Vipers. Other assists were credited to Colin Webster (2), and Jeff Costain. Nick Creelman was solid in goal for the Vipers, stopping 42 of 43 shots.

Josh MacDonald, assisted by Jordan Hughes scored the lone goal for Down East. Travis Willis and Sean Lorenteau split the goaltending duties in the loss.
