Vipers, Red Wings to clash Sunday Posted Sep 5, 2010 by AJ Sports Media. The Western Red Wings will host the Kensington Vipers on Friday night at the Tyne Valley Community Sports Centre. Fans in West Prince will get to see the leading two teams in the Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League. The last time the Wings played the Vipers, the Wings came out of Community Gardens with a 5-4 win. The Red Wings are the hottest team in IJHL lately, having won eight of their last nine games. Western also plays against the Vipers in Kensington on Saturday night. The Wings will play host this weekend to the Sherwood Falcons at Tyne Valley Community Sports Centre this Sunday Afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The game was changed from Sunday night so the Red Wing fans can see Canada/USA game on Sunday night. This will be a big game for both teams as Western has not yet clinched second place. A win on Sunday would do just that.
