Charlottetown PE - Dan Whelan recorded five points on two goals and three assists to lead the Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons to a 9-2 victory over Charlottetown Metro Builders in Marks Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey league action in Charlottetown Thursday night. Also scoring for the Falcons were Brodie MacDonald (1-2), Chris Boswall (1-2), Craig Cameron (1-2), Alex Smith (1-1), Kyle Reardon (1-1), Jon Vloet and Gavin Duffy. Scoring for Charlottetown were Stephen Cassidy (1-1) and Alex Abbot. Other assists were credited to Josh Toombs (2) and Willie Whelan. Luke Gallant made 35 saves to record the victory. Chris Chandler made 60 saves in a losing effort.
