Tyne Valley - The Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons defeated the Western Red Wings 4-2 in Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey league action on Sunday afternoon in Tyne Valley. Scoring for Sherwood were Brett MacDonald (1-2), Tyler Simpson (1-1), Jon Vloet, and Braden Johnston. Other assists were credited to Dan Whelan (2), Brodie MacDonald, and Alex Smith. Scoring for the Red Wings were TJ Campbell (1-1) and Alex Noonan . Other assists were credited to Pat LeFrank and Kris MacEwen. Tyler MacDonald recorded the win making 35 saves. Alex Robertson made 31 saves in a losing effort.
