Montague PE - The Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons defeated the Down East Maniacs 6-5 in Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League action Friday night in Montague. Denton Gorill (2-2), Tyler Simpson (1-3), Jon Vloet (1-1), Alex Smith (1-1), and Brodie MacDonald scored for Sherwood. Other assits were given to Kyle Reardon and Mark Walker. Scorers for the Maniacs were Matt Patterson (1-2), Tyler Clair (1-1), Jordan Hughes, Colby Bruce, and Jarrett Bernard. Other assists were given to Tyler Haight, Aaron Fitzpatrick, and Josh MacDonald. Sherwood goalie Ben Jones made 29 saves to record the win. Calvin MacIntyre made 34 saves in a losing cause.
