Vipers set to host Red Wings in Oleary
Posted Sep 7, 2010 by AJ Sports Media.
The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers will host the Western Red Wings in a neutral-site game on Saturday night at the Community Sports center in O'Leary. The Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League game will get underway at 7:30 p.m.
Vipers GM Pat McIver says it was a no brainer to host a game in O'Leary after the success of the event last year and with both teams carrying a large amount of western talent. This year's game should do well again.
The Vipers have western players such as Nick Reilly, Jeff MacIsaac, Jeff Costain as well as Scott and Nick Bernard.
These two teams have started to heat up the rivalry like it once existed and fans should be in for a great game between the league's top two teams.
