MONTAGUE, PE—The Sherwood A & S Scrap Metal Falcons skated to a 4-1 victory over the Montague Down East Maniacs in Marks Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League action Friday evening. Tyler MacDonald was stellar in goal to lead the Falcons, as he stopped 50 of the 51 shots he seen in the contest. Scoring for the Falcons were Denton Gorill, Alex Smith, Kyle Reardon, and Brodie MacDonald. Brent Coade (3), Johnny Vloet, and Tyler Simpson were all credited with assists. Ben Sherren, assisted by Josh MacDonald and Brad MacDonald scored the lone goal for Down East. Travis Willis was in goal, and turned aside 50 of the 54 shots he faced. The Falcons held period leads of 1-0, and 2-1 respectively. Referee Tim Hamel assessed a total of 11 minor penalties, six to the Maniacs.
