The Red Wings are playing very well lately despite suffering their first loss in regulation since October 24. The Wings lost a hard-fought battle to the Vipers 6-4 (with an empty net goal) on Sunday in Tyne Valley. The Red Wings are expecting another hard-fought game on Sunday when another big rival comes to town in the Down East Maniacs. The Maniacs are always a tough opponent for the Red Wings. "They're big, fast and they have great goaltending," said Wings coach Hal Schurman. Game time on Sunday is 7:30 p.m.
