Wings and Builders clash Sunday
Posted Sep 6, 2010 by AJ Sports Media.
The Western Red Wings will play host to the Charlottetown Metro Builders in Mark's Work Wearhouse IJHL action at the Tyne Valley Commumity Centre this Sunday.
The Red Wings are looking to get back on track after picking up only one point in their last three games. The Wings are only two points up on the Sherwood Falcons for second place in league standings. The Charlottetown Metro Builders are playing very well lately, downing Montague in their last two meetings and are only two points back of Montague for the fourth spot.
The last time the Builders came to Tyne Valley, they walked out of the Sports Centre with two points in an overtime win over the Red Wings.
"We will have to play our best (on Sunday) and realize that there are no nights off in the IJHL," said Western head coach Hal Schurman.
Game time is 7:30 p.m.
