Sherwood PE- Tyler Simpson scored the shoot out winner as the Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons defeated the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers 5-4 in Mark's Workwearhouse Island Junior Hockey League action played in Sherwood Wednesday night. Scoring for Sherwood were Brodie MacDonald (3-1) and Craig Cameron. Other assists were credited to Gavin Duffy (3), Chad Cameron (3) and Dan Whelan. Scoring for Kensington were Graham Telford (1-1), Cameron Webster (1-1), Mark Paynter and Nick Reilly. Other assists were credited to Jeremy Jollimore (2), Jeff MacIsaac, Jeff Costain, Dustin Jones and Michael Ramsay. Luke Gallant made 40 saves to record the win for the Falcons. Logan Reid suffered the loss making 27 saves.
