CHARLOTTETOWN, PE—Stephen Cassidy scored two goals and added two assists while Chris Chandler made 43 saves to lead the Charlottetown Metro Builders over the Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons by a score of 6-4. The Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League action was played Wednesday evening at the Simmons Sport Centre. Also scoring for the Builders were Alex Abbott (2-1), Tyler Moore, and Denton Gorrill. Assisting were Willie Whelan (2), Chad Doyle, Jarrett MacRae, and Ryan Chaisson. Scoring for Sherwood were Brodie MacDonald (2), Jon Vloet, and Craig Cameron. Assisting were Daniel Whelan (2), Alex Smith (2), Braden Johnson, Tyler Simpson, Brett MacDonald, and Gavin Duffy. Tyler MacDonald turned aside 34 of 40 shots in the losing effort. The two teams were tied at 1-1 after the first period, and 3-3 after forty minutes.
