Webster scores four en route to Vipers win

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE — Cameron Webster scored four goals to lead the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers to an 8-5 victory over the Charlottetown Metro Builders in Mark's Work Wearhouse Island Junior Hockey League action Thursday evening. The game was played at the Simmon's Sport Center.
Captain Jeff Costain also scored two goals for the Vipers, while Jeff MacIsaac (1-2), and Jeremy Jollimore (1-2) also found the back of the net. Assisting were Kendall Costello, Allan Clow, and Mark Paynter. Logan Reid captured the goaltending win, stopping 35 of 40 shots.
Scoring for Charlottetown were Willie Whelan (1-1), Josh Toombs (1-1), Alex Abbott (1-1), Denton Gorrill, and Shawn Hughes. Stephen Cassidy (2), Jordy Corcoran, Carson Butler, Ryan Chaisson, and Tyler Moore all contributed assists. Chris Chandler suffered the loss in goal, and was relieved by Jeremy McKinnon at 7:36 of the third period.
The Builders held period leads of 2-1, and 5-2 before the Vipers scored six unanswered third period goals.
